Happy Tasty Tuesday!
Banana bread was my comfort food that my mom made growing up and I always find myself craving it this time of year. It's also a great dish to make for any upcoming holiday party. It has become a staple in my house and I wanted to share how we make it! So if you have some over-ripped banana’s in your house, try this recipe out before throwing them out!
Ingredients
4 ripe bananas, the ripper, the better!
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and prep your oven-safe pan by greasing it with butter.
In a bowl, mash your 4 bananas with a fork until you can see a soft but chunky consistency.
Add the eggs and chocolate chips to your banana mixture and whisk together.
In a separate bowl, combine your sugar, vanilla extract, and melted butter, and mix. Add both mixtures together.
In another bowl, Mix the dry ingredients( flour, baking soda, salt) in another bowl. Feel free to add pecans or any nuts on top of the bread.
Pour your mixture into the pan and in the oven. Bake for 50 minutes and there you have the best banana bread recipe ☺️
